I'm back from comic con. It was a good year. Got to see lots of cool things. Didn't spend as much this year as past years which is a good thing. Did get to meet some cool people. Well now I'm going to hammer out the rest of what is on my TIVO for the last week and get some lunch.

Sorry if I haven't updated lately. I've been busy with work. It a few states in a few weeks. Comic Con is coming up so I'll be there this week. Look me up if you are going there. Tomorrow I have to work. Need to come up with some photo assignments and get those going after Comic Con. Also I'll be in Boston in the first full week of Aug.

In other news, I'm looking into buying a house soon. Don't know when exactly. Looking on homes right now. I'll keep everyone informed.

So the second half of that photoshoot went well. Got some good stuff. Better then the first half for quality wise. I did end up getting kicked in the jaw thought. Wrong place wrong time. Have more to shoot this sunday. Also had a shoot this past weekend with Jenny. That went really well. Got some good stuff and it is already online. Not all the shots, just a few. Might go back to posting more from a shoot online. Got two more shoots this weekend. Got to find a good spot in the desert to shoot. Next month I'm getting some new flash units. Going to work with them next month if I can. Need models willing to pose for shots that might not work. Let me know if you got time.

Sunday is the oscars so that night I'll be home watching that.

Including the hair and makeup time I've been on this photoshoot for the last 7 hours. We still probably have another 2 to 3 hours left before I can call it a night. I should have packed a powerbar or something to eat. Doesn't help that there is a cat in this house that is killing me. Oh well. At least I got some good shots already and will get really good ones later. The first half was for a band so it limited what we could do. This second half is free rain shots so there is nothing that we really can't do. Get to work on different shots. Too bad it is getting late. I need to get a photoshop person onto these photos as soon as I can so I can get the first half photoshopped and send out. The second half I need color corrected and proofed and then 8x10s done.

I think I had something to do every night this week. This weekend is even busy. I'm going to watch one of the top 5 nominated films for best picture. Plus I still need to watch cloverfield and rambo. Let me know if you want to go.

Well it is raining outside and it has pretty much not stopped sense friday night. I'm glad that it is raining because in So-Cal we see very little of this stuff. I'm hoping it rains tomorrow also. I love driving to work in the rain.

Played in a poker tournament yesterday. I made it to the final table was got out drawn on a quad-player all in hand. I made the right call but luck wasn't my friend. All the players were fun to play with so it wasn't bad.

I have a few photo meetings this week so hopefully I'll be doing some new imagery soon. I'm hoping I can do some new stuff. Maybe some themes or group stuff. No clue yet. I'll have to wait for the client to tell me what they want.

I've been working on this website most nights all this week. I stopped last night to see Juno again. I forgot that everyone is out of school this week so the theater was packed with kids. When I watched Juno last weekend it was mainly twenty year olds in the theater. Last night I think the average age was somewhere around sixteen. The two girls next to me were very loud during the film. I think they answered their phone at least 4 times during the film. I felt more like someone's parent then anything else during that film. I felt really old when their was a joke in the film about Maker's Mark liquor and only someone's parent and I laughed at the joke.

Followed that up with a trip to the bar. Got to hang out with some good people who were in town for the holidays. Makes me miss some of them more because I know I won't be seeing them until next year. Too many people are spread out across this country.

So this weekend I was able to see the film "Juno". It was one of the best films I have seen all year. It was so good. Everyone needs to see the film. Everyone.
